Five clubs representing The League for Clubs have punched their ticket to Round 4 of USOC Qualifying and are one win away from a spot in the 2027 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
A stoppage time goal gave FORO SC a win over Denton Diablos of USL-2. Foro qualified for the 2024 and 2025 US Open Cups and is looking to make it three in four years in Round 4.
The only TLFC club to qualify for the 2026 USOC is one win away from making another appearance as San Ramon FC easily dispatched of Oakland Stompers (NPSL) by a score of 6-0.
Napa Valley 1839 FC also advanced in NorCal. Looking to survive qualifying for the first time in club history, they ousted fellow TLFC club CF San Rafael by a score of 4-2. San Rafael had a 2-1 halftime lead, but three second-half goals in quick succession pushed Napa Valley through.
Two TLFC clubs are looking to qualify in their USOC debuts. Oklahoma United FC got a hat trick from Nickell Alexander and held on to defeat Arkansas Wolves 2 by a score of 4-3. Meanwhile, in Harlingen, Texas, RGV Red Crowns SC finished extra time tied at two with ATX United but advanced 7-6 on penalty kicks.
Aside from CF San Rafael, two other TLFC clubs saw their USOC dreams ended on Sunday, with Iron Rose FC falling 2-0 to Bellevue United SC and FC Monmouth losing 5-4 to Bulldogs SC.
The fourth and final Qualifying Round will take place the weekend of November 21-22, with 16 total clubs advancing nationwide into the 2027 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Pensacola FC has already qualified by virtue of winning the 2026 TLFC National Championship.
