Valdosta FC to Join The League for Clubs

February 4, 2025

The League is excited to announce the addition of Valdosta FC in the Gulf Coast Conference for 2025.

“My mission is to create opportunities for college and retired soccer athletes; the opportunity to play at a higher level. Soccer is the fastest growing sport in America and I want to bring an opportunity for people to see what South Georgia has to offer.”

Luke Pelkowski, President of Valdosta FC.

Valdosta FC was founded in 2024 and is joining The League’s Gulf Coast Conference as a part of the partnership formed between The League for Clubs and Gulf Coast Premier League. They will join Sowegans SC in the South Region.

“My hope is that we will create rivalries with other regional GCPL teams that will draw fans to the area and grow interest in a non-traditional southern sport. The club also has plans for a women’s team in the future."

Luke Pelkowski, President of Valdosta FC.

The League expects anywhere from six to 12 clubs to play in the Gulf Coast Conference in 2025, and more announcements should be expected in the very near future.
