Union 10 FC Joins The League for Clubs

February 4, 2025

The League is excited to welcome Union 10 FC to the South Region’s Gulf Coast Conference in 2025.

The club will play their home matches at Village Park in Daphne, Alabama. Village Park is owned and operated by Union 10 FC. Throughout the club’s history, the park has been much more than just the spot at which Union 10 home matches are played. It is also a place for coaches and players of all ages to learn, train and grow community through the sport of soccer.

Union 10 FC is the fourth club to join for 2025 as a part of the partnership between TLFC and the Gulf Coast Premier League. Union 10 FC also fields a women’s side that will play in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) in 2025. The WPSL also has a partnership with GCPL, similar to The League’s.

"Since joining GCPL in 2018, Union 10 FC has remained committed to the long-term development of our players and the growth of our soccer community. Over the past seven years, our patience and dedication to this mission have shaped who we are as a club. While we have big aspirations for the future, we understand that true progress happens one step at a time. At this moment, joining The League For Clubs is that next step, and we’re confident that it aligns with our vision of building a sustainable and competitive pathway for our players."

Gerardo Flores, Union 10 FC Director of Coaching

The League is anticipating 6-12 clubs in the Gulf Coast Conference in 2025. More announcements will be made in the near future as commitments are being finalized. In the coming weeks there will also be official details on conference alignment, scheduling, playoff format/venues, and more exciting partnerships to help improve the experience of clubs, players and fans.
