Real Colorado Foxes joins TLfC's Mountain Premier Conference

April 29, 2025

Real Colorado is consistently ranked as one of the best youth organizations in the country by Soccer America and has distinguished alumni that have played collegiately and professionally at the highest levels of American soccer. The club played in the USL PDL (now USL League Two) from 2009 to 2015. They also competed in the 2011 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.

“Joining The League for Clubs with our Real Foxes program allows our college players who come home for summers the opportunity to play in an organized league against great opponents. This allows us to continue our long history of providing college players summer training to maintain peak performance during their offseason,” said Mike Garnhart, Real Colorado Director.

The club is based out of Douglas County, Colorado, located just southeast of Denver. Home matches will be played at the Real Soccer Complex, located in the Douglas County community of Meridian.

With the announcement of Real Colorado Foxes, it can also be confirmed that the Mountain Premier Conference (MPC) will compete in the 2025 TLfC season. The conference plans to kick off its regular season in late May/early June. Full conference membership and confirmed schedules should be expected in short order.

Real Colorado Foxes will join Peak XI FC, Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC and CFA Aurora FC in the MPC. This conference was made possible by a partnership between TLfC and the Mountain Premier League (MPL). The partnership will allow MPL teams to compete at a regional level and be promoted into the MPC, giving them a chance to compete for TLfC’s National Championship.  This system of promotion and relegation is expected to begin in 2026.
