The first ever TLfC National Team of the Week was released today, after a week of action that saw 23 matches across five conferences. Additionally, ten players were honored as Honorable Mention, having just missed out on this week's first XI.
FORWARDS
Zach Faiq (Capital City SC) - Scored four goals and had one assist in two Capital City SC wins (4-1 vs. BTX, 4-1 at Westlake)
Jip van den Essen (Pensacola FC) - Was one of many players on the scoresheet in Pensacola's 14-1 win over LAX, but led the way with four goals
Arjan Dosanjh (Iron Rose FC) - Scored a hat trick in a 9-1 victory over Yuba FC on Wednesday
Elijah Langford (Oklahoma United FC) - Scored two goals and won the penalty that led to the third goal in a 3-0 win over Dallas Dragons FC
MIDFIELD
Uche Wokocha (Atlantic City FC) - Got the scoring started with a curling free kick in ACFC's 3-0 win over FC Monmouth
Isidro Martinez (RGV Red Crowns SC) - Scored two goals and had an assist in a 4-0 win over Central Texas Coyotes FC
Eamon Fakhri (Afghan Premier FC) - Scored the match winner in a crucial 2-1 victory over Sonoma County Sol FC
DEFENSE
Jonathan Powell (FC Westlake) - Scored a goal and had two assists in a 5-0 season-opening win over Austin United FC
Aaron Boateng (Pensacola FC) - One of the best defenders in TLfC, Aaron won nearly every battle in Pensacola's big win
TJ Bernhard (Met Oval Academy) - Was key in defense and also provided a nifty assist as the defending champs won 3-0 to open 2026
GOALKEEPER
Matt D'Ippolito (Kingston Stockade FC) - Had five saves and a clean sheet in a 3-0 victory over Real Central NJ

F Cesar Mata (Foro SC) - Scored a hat trick in a 4-4 draw against Central Dallas FC
F Lenny Aviles (FC Monmouth) - Two goals and an assist in a 7-2 win over First State FC
F Kendrick Hernandez (Pensacola FC) - Hat trick in the 14-1 win over LAX FC
F Braeden Paul (Tallahassee SC) - Two goals in a 4-1 win over AFC Mobile
F Ilyas Nazih (Valdosta FC) - Two goals in a 2-1 win over Pensacola FC Academy
M Aidan Lopez (Capital City SC) - A goal in two assists in two wins last week
M Jonathan Salguero (Kingston Stockade FC) - Goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over RCNJ
D Nelson Reynoso (Met Oval Academy) - Two assists in the 3-0 win over Brooklyn City F.C.
